NANTWICH TOWN SIGN DEFENDER RICHARD SUTTON

Nantwich Town Football Club is pleased to announce the signing on contract terms of experienced defender Richard Sutton. 23 year old Sutton is one of a number of players currently targeted by head coach Steve Davis and is the club’s first signing ahead of the new campaign. Sutton, who stands around 6’ tall, is a versatile defender who can play either in a central defensive role or as a right back. He was formerly on the books of Crewe Alexandra and since his release has experienced semi-professional football at Northwich Victoria/ Stafford Rangers and FC Halifax Town where he made 21 starts last season during which he scored twice for ‘The Shaymen’.
