Nantwich Town Football Club are pleased to announce that their leading scorer Michael Lennon has today (Thursday) been given permission to leave his house for the first time since been diagnosed with swine flu fever just under a fortnight ago. His doctor considers that Lennon has responded so well to the treatment that he is now free to move from the confinement of his home. Lennon’s first reaction was to collect his football training kit and head for The Weaver Stadium where he joined in tonight’s (Thursday) first pre season training session.
Meanwhile, fellow ‘Dabbers’ player Mark Beeston, who was diagnosed with the condition at the same time as Michael Lennon, continues to progress.
