visit to ground

Postby headhunters53 on Thu Sep 24, 2009 12:38 pm

On the 3rd of sept i was on a visit to crewe/nantwich and i had to have a look at the new ground , as i was about to leave an older gent came out of the offices , asked if he could help, i explained that i was down from the top of scotland on a visit to my home town , he then offered to give me a guided tour of the ground , he was very informative and explained everything about the club and new ground , i was very gratefull to him , im only sorry i didnt get his name , but as he told me he has been with the club ,one way or another for 50yrs , im sure many of you will know who he is , at the end of the tour he took me into the club shop , where i bought a home shirt and , yes i do wear it up here in scotland ,
So a big thank you to the older gent , and good luck to the team , and fans of Nantwich Town F.C

If your ever visiting again- post it on this board. Are you the same new fan who posted before with a different name? I don't go to every home match, but have been to a few now- either with my husband or on my own. We are both very fond of Scoland and have friends who live in Forfar. (And yes- we have been to watch Forfar play!) We often went touring with them up to the Highlands. If you visit again, we'd be happy to say, "Hello!"
