Hi All
Thank you for the respone from the Retford FC site, Ive already been there. I would still like to know officially what the Unibond Gound assessment report said, as perusing the net there is absolutely no feedback from the official body as to their assessment after viewing of the Retford facility a few days ago.

Will they fall foul as Alsagers dilema with both their grounds failing to make the standard upon time? With relegation even from this division, or will the inspection board turn a blind eye to the corrections that should have been implemented.
As for the stand cannot be put in place until after the season due to it having to be taken across the pitch. From the aerial photgraph the far side of the ground seems to have a grass field behind it? Aand is pitch maintenence that difficult these days?

Come on you Dabbers

Fronm the Unibond site :

Retford United will not be promoted. The eventual runners-up will receive the one automatic promotion spot with the clubs placed in 3rd to 6th positions competing for the one other promotion place via the play-offs.

Updated news on the Unibond site today stating that Retford will not be promoted but will remain in the Unibond South, subject to completion of the ground work.

So, it looks like Cammell Laird will go up as Champions now and 3rd to 6th willbe involved in the play-offs.

According to the unibond website Alsager have been relegated and the bottom of the Unibond Spouth league will remain in this league (Spalding have been lucky)
